Tammy’s Kitchen

Tammy had an outdated kitchen and a dining area that was too small for hosting. We took out the bay window and extended her dining area out over her back porch to gain more square footage. We opened up her kitchen to her living space by removing the wall and peninsula and installed two support pillars, which also served to house electrical and plumbing work. While she would have loved to have no pillars, it would have cost thousands of dollars more to dig into her slab to move plumbing, as well as install an engineered beam for structural support. Framing the island with these columns was a great solution. A full set of custom cabinets, oak floating shelves, quartz countertops, and fresh white paint with a stark blue island transformed this space entirely. We loved getting to work with Tammy in her dream kitchen. COVID delayed the start to her project, so this kitchen was a long wait, but well worth it!

Buck is very organized and professional. Buck and his team were wonderful to work with. They did a full remodel of my kitchen including extending the dining area. I knew what my vision was for my kitchen and he made it come to life. His team and the sub-contractors were very polite, cleaned up after themselves, and they all took pride in their work. I was kept informed when and who was coming to my house for the day. It all flowed easily. If I ever want to have any other projects in the future, I will definitely call Buck the Builder.”
