Sarah and Frank’s bathroom had become almost unusable due to a water leak in their vanity wall. Aside from that, their shower & vanity spaces were far too small, and they had a tub (that they had never used) taking up most of their bathroom’s real estate. We eliminated the tiny stall shower, removed the tub, and installed a new large shower in the tub’s previous location. We were then able to extend their new custom vanity & linen cabinet along the entire back wall of the bathroom, expanding their storage and counterspace. This bathroom did one have great original feature: two windows, letting in a lot of natural light, and we wanted the new layout to enhance that even more. Installing a glossy white shower tile and a large wall-to-wall vanity mirror both serve to reflect the light they already get in their bathroom, and brighten it up even more.
Both of them are math professors at Texas A&M, and they chose a custom shower floor pattern that has mathematical significance (we’ll trust them on that ;)). They also love color, and decided to choose a bright blue wall color to go with their more neutral tile selections. But, aside from the much better layout, their (and our) favorite part of this renovation is the custom oak vanity. They wanted one with a stronger grain pattern: something artistic and interesting. And of course, they wanted more functional storage and counterspace.
This new layout now makes so much more sense, and we are grateful to Sarah and Frank for trusting us with this project!

“The custom cabinets are a work of art.”
“Our remodeled master bathroom is beautiful and much more modern, light, and open than our old one. The custom cabinets are a work of art. During the whole project, we learned to have complete confidence in the team from Buck the Builder to handle any contingency. They discovered some underlying water damage and other issues, and we were relieved that such a thorough, competent, and comprehensive company was handling the project and could properly solve any such problems that arose.”
