Lanie came to us for her remaining home renovation projects, after we had already tackled her master bathroom and guest showers in previous years. Lanie’s kitchen was perfectly functional but felt very outdated. Her kitchen was last updated in the early 2000s, during the Tuscan brown earth tone trend. She realized that the last time she renovated, she just picked what was trendy at the time, and she didn’t want to make that mistake again. Instead, she chose an off-white (BM White Dove) for her walls and cabinets, to coordinate with her off-white Citrine Quartz countertops. But, it’s the addition of the blue-green backsplash that really brings her whole design together, and doesn’t place it in this decade or any other. In this case, the color MAKES it timeless!
Her laundry room was the only space we truly gutted in this Foxfire renovation. Even without moving any walls, we created a TON of more functional space. This room now functions as a laundry room and butler’s pantry/coffee bar. Converting to a stackable washer/dryer unit and filling all open wall space with our custom cabinets maximize every square inch. Matching Citrine quartz countertops & aqua clay tile backsplash to the kitchen makes the design cohesive with the rest of the home. This client says her laundry room is her new favorite space! And at this dramatic of transformation, we can’t blame her 🧺 ❤️
Updates to her dry bar, powder bath, and a full home repaint finished off all the remaining renovation projects for this repeat client of ours. We are so thankful to Lanie for trusting us with her home multiple times!
“The work was completed on time and on budget which is so rare these days.”
“Buck’s team gave our kitchen an update with new flooring, countertops, backsplash, lighting, and cabinet fronts. Our old functional but ugly laundry room is now a beautiful room with a new layout and cabinets. The work was completed on time and on budget which is so rare these days. We highly recommend Buck.”
