Brad & Laura’s Bathroom Remodel

Southwood Forest

Brad & Laura’s bathroom was straight out of the 80s… carpeted floor and all! In general, the bathroom footprint remained. We did expand the shower out into the bathroom as far as we could without intersecting the existing window. We also slightly shrunk the tub area to make the shower slightly wider. A new undermount tub with a quartz topper was installed, new custom cabinets throughout, a vanity area added, and updated fixtures.

Their toilet remained in place, but we reframed the toilet closet & clothes closet walls to eliminate the wasted space within the bathroom. And, of course, the saloon doors had to go!

We covered the bathroom head-to-toe in marble-look tiles, with some mother-of-pearl details. BM Gray Owl is the perfect gray to coordinate with the tiles, having a hint of blue to it. Gorgeous new fixtures and cabinet details make the space truly high end.

We’re thankful for Brad & Laura: they have trusted us with many projects in their home, including a full kitchen remodel in addition to this bathroom. Their bathroom is now bright, open, and much more functional!

“Buck and his team completed a full remodel for us. We could not be happier with how it turned out! All of the sub contractors were professional and you could tell they took pride in their work. The PSA process meant we knew exactly what the cost of the remodel was going to be before we got started. We were able to pick all the finishes within our budget without being surprised by the cost of an upgrade once things got started. Our project manager, Daniel, communicated excellently about the status of the project and he worked hard to keep us on schedule. We would highly recommend Buck the Builder for any remodel project!”
