Julissa loves to cook from scratch, and while her former kitchen offered plenty of space and an open connection to the living area, it wasn’t fully supporting the way she loves to cook. At the top of her wish list were a larger professional-style cooktop, a more powerful vent hood, and an expanded width, built-in refrigerator. Functionality was equally important, with requests for more drawers, pull-out organizers, and a dedicated appliance garage to hide her coffee maker when not in use.
Aesthetically, Julissa was ready to brighten the space and move away from darker finishes and outdated tile. Through our thoughtful design process before construction, we created a plan for her kitchen that would feel both lighter and bigger, without changing the overall footprint. The remodel included new appliances, stunning Solitaj quartz countertops with a solid surface backsplash, and our own custom cabinets painted BM Cloud Cover to coordinate with the undertones of her counters. We also incorporated intentional finishing details, such as extending the wall above the refrigerator to create a more built-in, custom look, along with updated fixtures and hardware throughout.
Most importantly, Julissa and Valentin not only love their new kitchen, but also genuinely enjoyed the remodeling experience. It was an honor to help bring their vision to life.
